My friend Smokin’ Dug is paying it forward, someone was kind enough to give him a 400 watt HPS fixture and bulb setup to help him get started growing his medical marijuana and since recently winning a Spectrum King LED light Dug no longer has a need for this and he wants to do for another what someone did for him.
This light will be awarded to someone who is in need of medicine and also in need of a little help to make this happen.
In an effort to help the winner out (whoever you may be), we want to join Dug in the spirit of paying it forward and will give them two of our Maine Seedlings clones to go with this light.
There two stipulations, that you live in Maine and are a military veteran.
There are 3 parts to this, owning a Ph meter, calibrating it, and USING IT!
Probably the one factor that will most negatively impact your medical marijuana plants is the Ph, if it’s out of whack I promise you your plants will respond in kind.
But not only do you need to use your Ph pen (at least weekly), you need to calibrate it as well, if you don’t regularly calibrate your pen how in the world do you know if it is anywhere near accurate?
The process could not be simpler or take less time and the benefits it will provide you and your medical marijuana plants will be directly reflected in their health and your harvest.
3. Setup an alert/alarm to remind you calibrate you pen (weekly)
4. Poor calibration fluid in a small measuring glass, let it sit for 45-60 seconds and adjust your pen to match the calibration fluid (either 4.01 or 7.0depending on the calibration fluid you purchase)
See, told you it was easy.

Here is our video showing you our DIY nutrient solutions bucket that we use on our marijuana grow rooms.
A couple points:
You will want to mount the spout just high enough so that if/when you set the bucket on a hard surface the spout does not come in contact with/hit it (and break).
Just the opposite on the air hose, put it just low enough so that the cover does not come in contact with the air hose, but not too low as you will lose capacity in your solutions bucket.

If you look at the bottom 20-25% of your grow, this is exactly what you should find:
You shouldn’t find anything here, zero, zilch, nada! Why? Because nothing good ever happens here! Chances are you won’t get any usable medicine but I promise that if you get powdery mildew it will get its start here in “no mans land” and by the time you see it it’ll be too late.
And disease prevention is not the only benefit you’ll get from “pot scaping“, because nothing on the bottom means more on the top (these really are the tops of the trimmed plants pictured above)!

Similar to Big Bud, you will see really big, rock-hard buds that ends in a larger than normal harvest despite the fact that this is a relatively short plant (great for indoor grows). Add to that are the explosively high THC levels of 20-25% (when grown in ideal conditions). Speaking of growing, this is a very hardy, easy plant to grow (even for beginners) in soil or hydroponically. Obviously those growing outdoors in dirt will experience the largest yields.
Because of these qualities (and others) we confidently recommend the THC Bomb to first time growers.
And when it’s time to harvest your buds will be covered, literally, in frosty white trichromes.

Here are some of the rules from the Maine Medical Marijuana Program regarding seedlings (clones).
MMMP Rule 1.17.5:
“Seedling – Seedling means a marijuana plant that has no flowers (buds), is less than 12 inches in height and diameter. A plant that does not meet all three criteria will not be considered a seedling.”
MMMP Rule 4.10.1.2: “Incidental amount of marijuana. A qualifying patient may possess an incidental amount of marijuana.”
MMMP Rule 4.10.1.2.1: “Incidental amount of marijuana per patient means… an unlimited amount of marijuana seedlings…”
