UNPACKING YOUR CLONES:
As clones are packed, travel to you and then make their way to their new home it’s not uncommon that they may become entangled with the each other. Because of this possibility we suggest that instead of lifting your clones up and out of the box, you should carefully cut open the end of the box and slowly/gently bring them out towards you, checking to make sure they are not tangled with another clone in the process. If a branch becomes bent (but not broken) simply splint that branch with a toothpick, Popsicle stick or a chopstick and masking tape (NOT a strong tape like duct tape). The plant will heal and a knot will form where the bend was.
LIGHTING:
We root/grow our clones under 24 hours of LED lighting. If you veg under 18 hours of light, we recommend that when you bring home your clones start them under 21 hours of light, then in 10-14 days drop the lighting back to 18 hours. If you go directly from 24 hours of light down to 18 without “stepping them down” it could stress your plants. That could cause bad things to happen, they could hermaphrodite, begin flowering early, or stunt them, preventing them from growing to their full potential.
Our clones are grown under T5 LED lights, so if you’re going to put them under HPS (high pressure sodium) or some “big boy” LED’s do not start day one with your clones with these lights at full strength or too close as you will surely fry your your little girls. Start the lights at half strength and slowly work them up from there and depending on the light (and their strength) you’ll want to start them 18-24 inches away from the top of your clones. A simple test is to put you hand palm down over the top of your clones, see how warm the back of your hand gets, if it’s too warm for your hand then it’s too warm for your clones.
NUTRIENTS:
Your clones are in a 70/30 coco+perlite mix, which means there is zero nutrition in that grow media for them to “eat”. You’ll need to provide nutrients to your clones from the very first watering.
GROW POUCHES:
Your clones come in a biodegradable root pouch and we strongly suggest that you plant them as is, pouch and all. To take them out of the pouch and attempting to clean the grow media off the roots will likely severely damage the roots and will cause significant delay in your pants growth process (and with enough damage you can actually kill your plants). Just removing the pouch will tear off any roots that have already pushed through the pouch. If you grow hydroponically, simply set your plants into the grow medium so that the top of the root pouch is 2-3 inches above the highest water level, doing this will prevent any coco from being washed out the top of your bag and getting into your pumps, See the pictures below as an example of what we mean and to see how well the roots pass through the bag.

HARDENING YOUR CLONES FOR THE OUTSIDE.
Your clones have been grown inside, in an environmentally controlled grow room so you will need to ease them into their new outdoor home.
- Start Slow (Day 1–2):
Place plants outside in a shady, sheltered spot for 2-4 hours, then bring them back in. Avoid wind and direct sunlight at first. - Increase Time Outdoors:
Each day, add 1–2 more hours of outside time. Gradually moving them into the sun. - Watch the Weather:
Skip cold, windy, or rainy days. If temps dip below 50°F, keep them inside. - Ease Them into Sunlight (Day 4–7):
Introduce your clones to morning sun first, then allow them more exposure to full sun. - Cut Back Watering Slightly:
Let the soil dry out a little more than usual. This helps toughen them up (but don’t let them wilt!). - Leave Them Out Overnight (Final 2–3 Days):
If nights are mild (above 50°F), leave them out overnight. This helps finish the transition. - Transplant:
After (roughly) 7 days, your clones should be ready to move into their permanent home (garden or containers).
Tips:
Avoid hardening off during heavy rain, wind, or sudden cold snaps
Patience is key—this process helps prevent transplant shock
TRAVELING CLONES
While it’s not very common, you might occasionally get home with your clones and notice one or two looking a little wilted. Don’t worry — these delicate young plants have spent their lives in a perfectly controlled growing environment, so the stress of travel, exposure to wind, or even a warm car ride can temporarily throw them off their game. A bit of wilting is just their way of responding to all the new things they are being exposed to.
Not to worry, they will perk right back up within about 24 hours.
OUR CLONES ARE GROWN ON RACKS:
Because our clones are grown on rack systems, you may (on occasion) see a round gray circular dots on a leaf of your clone, usually on a lower leaf. That is simply where a droplet of water/nutrients has dripped from above, dried and left a little residue behind. It is not harmful or in any way detrimental the the clone. Here is an example of what we mean:
These are the marijuana strains we will be producing for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 grow season
